The Writer

Jesse Hernandez is an aspiring filmmaker, writer, and entrepreneur. He finds intrigue in the challenge of making complex-character driven plots that blur the lines between reality and fiction. His passion lies in the horror and thriller genre although he has developed an acquired taste for drama given his experience with parental alienation.

With an extensive background in federal service, Jesse has come to understand the importance of working with a diverse team.  His job gives him a much-valued advantage to understand people from different cultures, their uniqueness, similarities, and dissimilarities. In 2018, Jesse graduated Salutatorian of his Digital Cinematography degree. Jesse was also awarded with two course director’s awards during his master’s degree, one for Character Creation & Development and Writing for Film and Animation. These awards reflect Jesse’s ability to use past experience to excel in the art of creative writing.

Jesse’s ambitious path does not end with the master’s degree in Creative Writing as he has his eyes set on a second master’s degree in Entertainment Business. With this arsenal of education, Jesse plans to take a film from the early developments of plot creation to closing the funding deal and producing the film to ultimately take it to the mainstream media.
